Adrienne Lawrence is a journalist turned Operations and CAMP Director for the Journalism and Women Symposium (JAWS). Her nonprofit experience includes running conferences and managing dynamic scholarship and award programs. She started covering politics at CBS Radio News in D.C.; then was a beat reporter for The Frederick News-Post; has written on business, politics and economics for several magazines; served as managing editor of The NAVTA Journal, a scientific publication; and reported breaking news for 930 AM WFMD. Adrienne has a B.A. in journalism with a web development minor from Hood College; an A.A. with honors from San Antonio College in liberal arts; and studied literature at Oxford University. She is a lifetime member of JAWS and SPJ, member of American Theater Critics Association, and member of American Advertising Federation of Greater Frederick (AAF-GF). She also serves on the AAF-GF and Alive@Five boards and volunteers in her community. Adrienne lives in Frederick, Maryland, with her husband and Dachshund.
