Not everyone has time or editors to polish their writing as well as they might like. But there are a number of very easy things you can incorporate into your writing (and your reporting) to help make things clearer for readers, and keep them from having to back up, stop or wonder what the heck you’re talking about. A reader who has to do any of those things is a potential reader lost. Be prepared to share!
