Find your inner Ira Glass, Jad Abumrad or Marc Maron in this workshop on podcasting…wait, wait, wait…though it seems the majority of popular podcasts are hosted by men (in 2013 audio producer and Third Coast International Audio Festival co-founder Julie Shapiro discovered that 71 of the top 100 podcasts streamed on the audio app Stitcher were hosted by men), that shouldn't stop you from fine-tuning your unique voice and creating your own. This workshop will help give you a head start, with tips on setting up a studio, targeting your audience, spreading the word, and finding funding.
