Katie McMurran is an award-winning radio producer and audio engineer in Oakland, California. For 11 years, she was based at LA's classical music radio station KUSC, where she produced the weekly arts and culture program Arts Alive. She is currently an audio producer at Pandora Media and a reporter for the UK radio outlet Monocle 24. She produces the podcast Normal for the online magazine Trop, created a podcast to highlight the Buddhist teachings of the Shambhala Center of Los Angeles, and has counseled many prospective podcasters on what is required to get up and recording.
