Stacy-Marie Ishmael lives at the intersection of finance, media and technology. Stacy-Marie established FT Alphaville as financial blogging force to be reckoned with as one of its founding members. She set up its the award-winning blog's NYC bureau, and later co-founded FT Tilt, an online-only emerging markets news service.

More recently, Buisiness Insider named her one of 2013's "thirty most important women under 30 in technology" for her work as a product manager at Percolate, a top NYC-based technology startup, and in recognition of her tenacious advocacy for minorities in tech.

She lectures part-time at the Tow Knight Center for Entrepreneurial Journalism, and has taught classes in the business and economics department at the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism.
